This hotel is off Meeting Street, right in the middle of downtown Charleston. Staying here puts you in walking distance of The College of Charleston, The Market, The Battery and most other areas of interest. It is very centrally located and you never have to crank up your car while you are there. The hotel is older, however many renovations are taking place. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great place for my family of five.
Value-conscious hotel with the sunburst sign provides basic amenities to ensure travelers a comfortable stay.

In Short
This nationwide chain promises value-added amenities to its guests. King and two-queen guest rooms offer clock radios, hair dryers, shampoo, televisions with HBO or Showtime and complimentary copies of USA Today. The property is inspected three times a year for quality by an independent quality assurance team and assigned a Sunburst rating, so travelers can rest assured that their accommodations are clean and comfortable.

You will get the most Bang for your Buck! Clean, and the staff strive to make it right if it is not right. And never so close to where I wanted to be. Park the car and forget about it until it is time to go home. Walking distance to most everything you want and need.
- Pros: Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, Inexpensive by compar
- Cons: Place to freshin up

Not exactly a quaint bed and breakfast, but this Days Inn is right in the heart of historic Charleston. You can literally park the car in the hotel's lot and walk everywhere. Rooms are basic with outdoor entrances and hotel isn't exactly new. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic retreat, but if you'd rather spend your money elsewhere in Charleston, check this place out.
- Pros: the price, location
- Cons: not exactly posh
