Great Hotel BUT...

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Luxury beds and deluxe amenities help business folks and families sleep well at this comfortable mid-level chain.

In Short
Warm chocolate chip cookies greet every guest at this Hilton-owned hotel, a friendly touch that fits in with the hotel's business-casual attitude. Another way Doubletree helps its guests relax is the Sweet Dreams bed, which features a pillow-top mattress, high thread-count linens, down comforters and lots of jumbo pillows. Amenities also include high-speed Internet access, in-room coffeemaker and complimentary newspaper; properties also typically feature a swimming pool, a fitness center and a range of meeting facilities.

Just what I was Looking for!!!

by naitro

I visited the hotel in September of 2005. I am planning another trip to Charleston and will be staying there. The trip last year was a weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. The hotel was very nice, the service even better. I am a very neat and organized individual, the rooms were what I was looking for. The bathroom was very clean. The location was perfect, not too far the the interstate and within walking distance of downtown. Overall I highly recommend this hotel!!!

The Worst Doubletree!

by tnapawan

- I believe I was upgraded to the "Deluxe" room, which turns out to be nothing nicer than a 2-star Hampton Inn room along interstate. The room shows wear and tear everywhere (i.e. 2 holes on lamp shade, poor linen, flat-out foam pillows, dirty carpet).

- When checking in, I was "standing way behind 2 ladies while a gentleman was checking them in. Another female staff was standing in front of her computer doing absolutely nothing. She was looking at me and all around the lobby without saying anything. 5 minutes passed by, I was not offered for any helps. When 2 ladies were done, she then said "How can I help? I thought you were together...first, let me sign into the system". I was totally shocked that in the past 5 minutes, she was just hanging around there and not even getting ready to work.

  • Pros: Location
  • Cons: Horrible room, Poor services, Overpriced
