Consignment Issues.
Consigned 1 antique dresser and one end table. They priced them low IMO. One for $78 and one for $229. Both of these items sold amazingly fast. They take $50 of the profit. We received a check for $64. I asked why and they said that the dresser sold for less than $50 of what it was listed for. I asked why and they said it was not in good shape and they can run specials/sales. So I added up all of the discounts they could apply and it came to 20% and then 20%of that which is still less than 50%.
Needless to say after some phone calls and visits, they paid me my 50% of the full selling price and told me that there was a "data entry error." I think that something fishy is going on and will never consign or buy there again.

More like an overpriced Goodwill.
I was expecting to find nice furniture for decent prices after reading their ads. 99% of the items in there are extremely worn and priced close to new. I saw a set of lamps that I had seen new on eBay, they had major scratches all over the base and were more then the set on eBay. Many of the items were very outdated also
Also the part that is supposed to sell gently worn designer jeans had nothing but worn lower end jeans.
