Just came home from having my hair cut and colored at London Hair. I am so happy with my new style! Excellent service. My hairdresser, Stephanie, took the time to listen to what I wanted and boy did she deliver. I am now a loyal customer!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I had never cried over a hair cut and color until I went to London Hair. I've always dyed it blonde and it's always been long. So, I decided to try out London Hair because I needed a trim and my roots needed to be touched up. BAD IDEA.

1. I asked the hair dresser (Elise) to only cut about an inch off my hair. She kept bothering me about how unhealthy my hair was so I let her cut off 2 inches. However, when she finished it was more like 8 inches. To give you an idea my hair used to be just below my breast. Now, my hair doesn't even touch my breast.

2. I wanted my hair to be BLONDE. When she highlighted my hair she mostly used foils but on my hair line she just put the dye on the hair. When she rinsed off the dye you couldn't even see the hair on my hairline. A few hours later parts of my hairline had actually fallen off! On top of that she used a dark black dye in my hair as well as a few highlights. Even though I just wanted to be blonde which I thought I made clear. My hair is actually darker than my natural hair color and has a slightly grey tone (I'm only 20!)

I would not recommend this salon to anyone who is under 65. I'm only 20 yet my hair looks more like my grandmothers. The price of the cut and color was way over priced especially because I actually LOST MY HAIR! I wish I had read the reviews before I went to London Hair.

london hair is no longer on johnnie dodds blvd. , they moved 2 years ago to coleman blvd. the new salon is small and friendly with great stylists that are edgy and modern. I was a model for one of their haircutting workshops where the owner trains the stylists to do new cutting techniques several years ago and i have been a loyal client ever since!

Glory days are long gone.... I was a loyal client of London Hair for many years...I started going there almost 10 years ago, and would have never imagined this salon would become so awful. The best stylists have left, and you can bet your bottom dollar (as they will surely take it) that you DO NOT want to go to this salon...it's dead, dreary, and so over... You will be disappointed in your cut, and pay WAY too much. I will pay top dollar, but I expect to leave happy...and that's how it used to be. You'll find London Hair to be full of clients over the age of 60, and the stylists to have only their interests at heart. I miss the London Hair of years ago...and it makes me sad that the leadership of this salon has never realized that it's about the clients... Don't go. Waste of money and time...there are salons that are much more deserving of your hard earned dollar.

Not Worth the money. I agree with some other users. I had compliments on the cut, but not sure if my friends were just being nice. It was lopsided (not intentionally or in a good way) and had to get it fixed. I will not be returning to the salon. I've had similar cuts at Great Clips, that were a fraction of the cost.

RUN!!. WAY overpriced! WAY overrated! They give themselves too much credit! My hair was butchered! I went from long hair needing a trim to leaving with chin length hair because the "master" stylist was incompetent! And someone else had to step in and fix her mistake before I could leave---in tears I might add! RUN RUN RUN away!!

happy hair..happy life. Yes, I can see how that headline can sound shallow. But when a totally new haircut from a stylist I just met makes me happy, really happy for days & days & days...well I think you get the idea.

Great skills, a professional staff and the end result we all hope for.

Haircut pretty much ruined my life until it grows out. After reading some of the reviews on here, I am glad to know that I am not the only one who had their hair butchered here.

After making it very clear that I wanted a chin length bob, the owner agreed and went on to cut my hair. Did she stop at the chin? No, she cut it above the ear! I was horrified and tried to put on a nice face for the rest of the employees there, who were wonderful. Needless to say that my husband was not very happy when he saw it. I was crying for weeks afterward. Now, it's 5 months later, my hair still isn't grown out and looks terrible. It's really difficult to grow hair out when it's been cut this short. After wanting to sue them for the time and expense of growing the hair out, as well as the emotional damage this has caused, I will be happy with spreading the word about this salon.

London is all about ego and not about their customers! You have been forewarned!

Wonderful Salon!. I went in to this salon for a consultation and had no idea that I would leave with a whole new perspective on Mount Pleasant and common courtesy. Too many times, people stereotype certain locations (I was one of them) and I've always thought of Mount Pleasant as a "snooty city full of rich people with attitudes who are used to getting what they want". When I walked into London Hair, I was politely greeted by the front desk receptionist and I told them I was here for a consultation. They took me right in and made me feel right at home while filling me with what came across to me as years of knowledge, wisdom and firsthand experience about the hair industry, hair products, cut/color, style, and pretty much anything involving hair and the hair industry. I was very comfortable after that point and I fully trusted that they knew their stuff. My very first result: a cut with layers and I *loved* it! I came back about 2 months later and had a color done in addition to a trim and, once again, it looked FABULOUS!!!

The people who work for London Hair are, in my opinion, superstars! It's obvious to me that they really have their stuff together and, so far, I've *loved* every single look they've put on me! I've been a customer for almost three years now!!

Love it!. I've gone to two different stylists at this salon and loved them both. I always get compliments on my hair after a visit to London Hair!
