Terrific veterinary office!! I have been taking my pets to Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital for over 30 years and have always been very pleased with the services they provide. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The "new" generation of Shuler pet doctors (Dr. Kevin and Dr.Laura) are wonderful.

Dr. Kevin was so compasionate in taking care of my dog, Ayn, when she had terminal cancer.

I have since adopted 2 rescue dogs who also get their care at MPAH which continues to provide excellent care as always.

Great Vets. Our 3-year-old malti-poo, Lucky, loves Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital as much as my husband and I do. Our busy schedules require a practice that does not overbook itself and force patients to wait. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always does such a great job of making each visit very comfortable and personal. The staff always is upfront about possible charges and very willing to discuss options. We also love that the doctors are easy to reach if we do have a question or concern about our dog. Dr. Kevin and Dr. Laura are the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional vets around. If you want the best for your animal then look no further.

We want your money first, then we might take a look at your dog. My boxer had a seizure about 3 am one night. Called them the next day to make an appointment. I did not have the money and a friend was kind enough to loan me her visa until the next week so i could pay her back. When we were making the appointment we asked did they need verification that it was ok to use her credit card and they said "no that it was ok, to bring him in." I got there, they weighted him and stuck a thermometer up his butt, then said "by the way we need verification to use the credit card." A little freaking late, my friend had the Alzheimer patient we take care of and forgot her phone. So we had to leave. Also they did not know that if a dog has a seizure his bloodwork needs to be taken within 12 hours to find a problem. Do they know what they are doing? I believe they just want the money. They better not send me a bill my lawyer will have a field day. I will never go there. took the time to drive to Folly Road, that guy is the best in Charleston County.

High Priced Vet. I am very frustrated with Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital tactics of not informing you of their costs and charges. I was not told upfront that the antibotics for my dog were going to be $180. Things of that price should be consulted with the customer. After my bad experience I have heard they are the highest price vet in town., and if you are on a budget this is not the vet for you!

Wonderful Caring Vet. First - The only reason I only gave Mt P Animal Hospital 4 and not 5 stars is because they do not have Saturday hours. Thus, if you work late or something happens after you get home Friday - the only alternative is that horrible emergency vet or another vet, which unfortunatley I've had to do. Aside from that - this place is absolutely wonderful. Staff is always very polite, friendly and knowledgable. Drs. Laura and Kevin are as well. And having a house full of dogs and stray cats - something always seems to be going on - so I'm forever in there.

Veterinarian. I have used the Shuler Veterinary practice for over 50 years - Kevin is my third generation of Drs. Shuler. Everything aboutt the practice has always been professional, top-notch and above all else, caring & committed.

yes, there are less expensive practices, but if you want the very best for your pets (and you), go to them.
