Best Italian food. I have been looking for an italian restuarant that serves more authentic italian food. Gennaro's definitely topped it. Out of most of the italian restaurant's i been to in Charleston this is the best one! the lasagna and eggplant parmesan is to die for!. i definitely recommend this italian restaurant to anyone!

Very Good!. This place is certainly authentic Italian cuisine. The dishes are very good and freshly made. It is great for an intimate dinner for two or for a family. I do recommend you make a reservation. We've even ordered take-out pizza and it was very good as well. I have to go now, as my husband has made reservations for our anniversary dinner there tonight!

Looking for average?. This place is okay for a normal, out to dinner night...Don't be fooled by the intimate setting and the dim lighting. Yes, it has the possibility to become romantic. The food is average, and they give you alot of it...The best thing I've eaten here is the filet...

Best Pizza in The Lowcountry!. I moved from NJ two years ago and Gennaro's is the closest I've found to NY/NJ Pizza! It's delicious! Soft crust and the sauce is nice and sweet! Make sure you stop in to say "hi" to Wheezi and get a drink at the bar while waiting for your pick-up! Also, don't forget to check out the jazz on Thursday nights too! Great place, highly recommend for Summerville area!

I love it. Best Italian in charleston........good veal, good food and good prices. Old world Italian cooking.......nice jazz night on Thursday evenings. Just Go!

A place to visit.. This is an excellant restaurant.

Off the beaten track of downtown restaurants, Gennaros is definitly worth the drive.

Thursdays live jazz.

I've eaten here for years and never had a bad meal.
