Best place to go with friends!!!!!. place was just awesome. drinking, smoking, playin pool with the boys. thats always a good time. who the hell goes to the pool hal at 8? lol whatta loser
The place to go!.
The greatest pool hall in Charleston; Friday and Saturday Nights especially! What could be better than alcohol, pool, food, and music? Its nice to come into a establishment and meet all kinds of interesting people (including the staff) while relaxing and enjoying ones night. Im not one for going downtown and paying outrageous prices for alcohol and cover charge. I saw the previous review and I dont think that is a true statement at all. I like both the bartenders they pay attention to what your perferred drink is and always try to have it ready before you even get up to the bar. The cook and waitress are very nice and the DJs always rock it up on the weekends.
I just wanted to say thanks again for having a place for me to go and have fun!
Most Extreme Case of Racism that I have ever experienced!. This location in N. Chas. has terrible customer service. After asking to order some food, we were told that the kitchen "might" be open at 8pm. At 8:10pm, we again asked to order some food and we were told that the kitchen was not open and she was not cooking. I asked "why?" and the bartender, with a disgraced look on her face, said to me "because I don't feel like it". I felt outraged! I am a member of the US Air Force and have been for over 9years now. I decided to move back home (after experiencing bad hospitality in several other states) assuming that I would rather live in the South where there is more "Southern Hospitality". Sadly, I have been proven wrong! I'm defending our Country, making a safer place for us to live, including the disgruntled bartender....and this is the treatment I get? I feel like the bartender could've done a better job of letting us know that the kitchen wouldn't be open. Instead, she let us wait for over an hour, then delivered the unprofessional comment to us. Her reply has led me to take further action (professional, that is) towards this business. I'm sure the owner would not appreciate how she treated us. We come to this spot on Wednesday nights to play pool and have fun. This is the 2nd Wednesday that she has refused to cook for us. Needless to say, I am a black woman. And I was playing pool with 5 black men. I felt a great deal of disrespect from the caucasian bartender. However, I will do everything in my power to make sure that this experience is publicized and not happen again. Thank you!
