Yokoso is better. I didn't do the sushi, I did the steak and chicken... of all my hibachi experiences this was the dullest. I guess the chef makes the experience but I was unhappy, had dry chicken, and flavorless, tough, chewy, tendony steak. Won't go back, too many options and too expensive for mediocrity.

I love Japanese steakhouses. Kobe is good. If you've never been to a Japanese Steakhouse; what are you waiting for? The open floor plan here reduces the intimacy if you're looking for romance. I don't go to these places for romance, I go for food. Piles of rice, meat, and vegetables. I have left without a doggie bag but I was too stuffed to move. I like the white sauce. Not only do you get the best tasting food known to man, it gets prepared with lively entertainment right in front of you. My daughter prefers Kobe; my wife prefers Yokoso. I say, "Make that onion volcano and bring my food." I've never had to wait to be seated at Kobe...its sake time! Go there on your birthday and let them know its your birthday.

Best Japanese Restaurant. I've been to a lot of Japanese restaurants, but Kobe stands out. It has a unique family-friendly environment that I love about it every time I visit. Their hibachi food is delicious and is in generous portions. Their sushi is good and creative at the same time. I highly recommend anyone who's craving Japanese food to give Kobe a try, you won't regret it.

Love the Sushi. Kobe's is an awesome place to go. The owner is a wonderful guy. Lawrence is one of the funniest chefs they have and he doesn't mind doing shots with you. The food is wonderful wether its sushi or hibatchi. I go there atleast 3 or 4 times a month and have never had a bad experience there. I strongly recommend the place cause you can beat the prices, food, or the great people!

A+. A+ for Kobe's staff , service and food.

I have eaten in many different places,cities and countries and I definitely have to say it was one of the greatest places.

Sushi was exceptional,big variety of different kinds of sushi rolls,sashimi and chef's specialities.

What I loved the most was that their products was fresh.

The entertainment is incredible, great for kids and adults

The staff is extremely friendly and the chef's are wonderful.

better places to go!!!. My experience at kobe was not good. The sushi was poorly pprepared and tyhe seafood was not fresh. For the price i was not pleased. For future reference try miyabi's in west ashley!!!

A Wonderful Experience!. I love this place! Always friendly, courtious, air quality is fantastic.

Each table has a floor show designed just for them. They make the eating experience fun for young children and grandparents alike.

The only negative is if you do not come with enough people you have to wait for them to arrive. I've not waited more than 1/2 hour, but go early!
