Nice place at a reasonable rate. Good location, just a couple miles from downtown. Nice rooms, with a separate little area to get away from sleeping children. Very helpful front desk. Ask directions and they will give you a map of Charleston and highlight the path including the best parking garage. There is no on-site restaurant, but there is a 24 hour vending area where you can get snacks, microwaveable dinners and beer/wine. They serve a decent buffet style breakfast, with lots of options including eggs, cereal, belgian waffles, etc. They have a free wi-fi and a free business center with a couple of computers hooked up to a printer in case you need to print out directions, etc. I especially appreciate that they don't try to nickel and dime you for items like that. There is an outdoor pool that was open despite it being December 31, but we didn't try it out.
