rude waitresses

when i paid for my drink that was 3.50 i didnt leave tip in the space for a tip, because i had left a 4.00 tip on my last paid bill for me and my wife. so as i was drinking my drink this waitress maggie came and asked me why there wasnt a tip left and i trid to explain but she didnt listen that i tip at the end of the night more than 30 percent, but instead of listening she ficked me the bird and showed her true trailer park. and then when she came back around i tried to have a civilized conversation about he action and i asked her to apoligize for her rude actions she flicked me the bird again showing me she really had no class. i figure i would worn other future customer that henry's has some very rude waitresses. thank you for your in reading this comment

Charleston really is Hip

I was visiting from NYC and saw some Antlers in the window. Can Charleston be this hip? Walked in and saw the Wild Boar over the bar. The coolest NO SMOKING painting, and fantastic antlers. The bartender told me that it was not quite finished, but it is on the way. I was confused by the colored scented candles on an upside down shelf and the artwork looked like it was chosen by 2 different people.(Johnny Cash and a weird painting of what i was told was the old Henry's Jazz Club.) I loved the brown painting on the back wall and the mismatched table and chairs ,candlearbras,etc.made for an interesting place. I was told to come back for dinner, but we did not make it. The design was the appeal for me as i am in that business. It has a great start, but needs the touches.(If you are reading this, your curtains are too heavy for a summer town.) Waitstaff very nice, but southern and the crowd was a bit not what was expected. But when i mentioned it to the concierge at the hotel, he said it sounded completely like a different place. and after reading the previous reviews, i can only say. It needed it. it could be a 4 for this town, but it is mixed right now. I will check it out agin next year.

• Pros: i love the taxidermy and antlers

Do Not Under Any Circumstances Go to this Place

A nice atmosphere, good drinks, and a great place to go if you want money stolen from you. 100 dollars was wrongly charged to my debit card, two weeks ago. The non-existent manager won't talk to me. The accountant is incompetent. I've been ignored, hung up on, lied to and insulted. And it was without question the restaurant's fault. I've seen the receipt for the false charge, and it has a different signature and a different table number from my real receipt which was only for 7 dollars. Yet Henry's still tries to tell me that this is my fault. If you want to be treated like dirt and ripped off, this is the place to go!
