Delish & impeccable service!. One of our favorite places. Every time is a treat!!
our favorite in charleston. we've been here twice, once for my husband's birthday and once just for a nice dinner. each time the food was exceptional as was the service. we will stop here every time we're in charleston.
Editorial Review. Upscale bistro serves French-influenced Lowcountry cuisine, including duck, oysters and shrimp. The menu is complemented by over 1,300 international wines.
flawless.
from the service to the food we really felt like royalty. they thought of everything. the service staff was the best of the best. the dining room is beautiful and the live jazz trio really set the mood.
the service staff was friendly and very knowledgable on the menu as well as the wine list. the food was absolutly remarkable and my husband and i really enjoyed all of the little extra treats that we got sent out.
this is a beautiful resturant i highly reccomend going here it is a very romantic resturant
they have vallet parking threw the hotel i would really reccomend using. also when you make reservations make sure you tell them if you are celebrating a special occasion you will not regret it
Horrible experience.
We went to the Charleston Grill to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The restaurant staff was very friendly and that is probably the only thing nice I have to say. The food was pricey. I particularly didn't like the waiter/waitress in my face incessantly. I came to spend time with my wife, not the waiter.
One of their staff noticed we were looking out of the window (that divides the restaurant) and immediately came over and opened the window. This also let in all the noise and chat from the table just on the other side.
The "live" music came from a Bose sound system. The portions on the meals were ridiculously small. The dining area itself gave me the impression there was a rainforest in ruins somewhere from the unbelievably gaudy volume of mahogany in the room.
All said, our night was ruined because of this over hyped restaurant!
amazing overall experience. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time we dined on our trip we cancelled another restaurant resv. to go back to the Charleston Grill. The second time the resv. was not in the system, but the staff made a prompt correction. The service was excellent and they even remembered us and made our dining experience a pleasant one. The food is great. My wife loved the Maine Lobster Tempura over Lemon Grits and I loved the Charleston Grill Ravioli stuffed with Duck Neck Confit. For dessert we really enjoyed the bread pudding. Each of the nights they had live music.
Exceptional!.
One visit to this recently voted #1 in Charleston rest., and you'll make it a permanent stop on every visit. At first, it's slightly intimidating, but once inside, you immediately feel as if you've risen to the ranks of royalty! Surprising to those used to lesser hotel restaurants, it's refreshing to know how close your room is after a meal like this. Our children were made welcome, and the Live
Jazz trio was even taking requests! Just be sure to bring the plastic!
