My Review. This restaurant was awesome. If you love seafood, the selection is tantalizing. It is definitely on my list of places to eat at when in Charleston.

excellent!. Our first night in Charleston, this is where we ate, and it was DELICIOUS! The Crab dip and She-Crab soup were excellent starters and the broiled entree was fantastic. Expensive, but worth every penny.

SHUCKS!! WISH I WAS THERE. WE GO TO CHARLESTON OFTEN AND MAKE IT A POINT TO EAT HERE AT LEAST ONCE DURING OUR STAY. YOU CAN EAT OUTSIDE BY THE OLD MARKET PLACE OR INSIDE. EITHER WAY YOU WILL STILL ENJOY SOME OF THE BEST SEAFOOD IN CHARLTESTON. LUNCH OR DINNER IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE PACKED...THIS TELLS YOU SOMETHING....WE ARE ALWAYS SEATED PROMPTLY WITH EXTREMELY EFFICIENT SERVICE THAT FOLLOWS....PUT IT ON YOUR LIST DURING YOUR NEXT VISIT.

Even Forest Would Agree. This is got to be the best seafood restaurant in Charleston hands down. I love to get the stuffed shrimp and the yummy dip. Great for dates or family dining and it conviently located on the market.

Biggest Let Down Ever. Upon a very long over do trip to Charleston I ask where was a great place to go and eat. A W Shucks people would say. Heading into town you see all the billboards, you see all the ads telling you "top rated"... Well I have never been so miss informed before. The food was terrible, the service worse and over it was a bad experiance. And to top it all off the price was way to expensive for what you got! If you are looking for great seafood and great service I would NOT suggest A W Shucks to anyone!

No Jive at Shucks!. A great authentic oyster bar with great atmosphere and other dishes. Extra friendly service, wonderful roasted oysters! More than reasonable prices.

Great Food and Service. I was recently in Charleston and luckily found this restaurant while exploring the Historical District. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
