Affordable, Authentic, Amazing!!!.
I brought my wife and kids out to the Market downtown to check it out after they finished all the new construction and we stopped in to Bocci's for dinner. The staff was very helpful with all the kids questions and so attentive that my wife couldn't even find anything to complain about. I had the duck which was one of the best dishes I have ever had. The prices are such that you can feed a family of four without going broke. I tell everyone about this place and if you give them a try I guarantee that you will too.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere!! :).
My fiance and I came in for dinner here the other night and would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to friends, family, and the like :)
The staff was extremely friendly, from start to finish. We chose to have a cocktail before sitting down to our meal where we were greeted by a very friendly bartender. After taking the recommendation on the featured wine we chose to order a bottle with our dinner. I had the Tuscan Duck and my fiance had the Beef Tenderloin. Both of which were phenomenal and perfectly prepared . When I remarked to our server how pleased we were she informed us that they have recently taken on a new chef and have had great feedback (ourselves included!).
Both my fiance and I have raved about this restaurant to our local friends, and I hope to do the same to those who are reading this now.
If you are looking for great wine, food, and service Bocci's is most certainly the place to go.

Best Duck in Town.
My wife, and I had a nice dinner at Bocci's two days ago. The service was quick and friendly, and the Tuscan duck was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. My wife had a ravioli dish that was good but quite spicy. The large portions are very large, so if you are not very hungry I suggest taking the half portion.

not worth the money.
I always hunt down italian restaurants whenever I'm out of town, but this was just disappointing. The red sauce was very bland, which unfortunately was on both of the entrees we got. The food wasn't terrible, it just wasn't worth the money or the wait.

Charming decor, good food.
Ate here on vacation recently and was very excited to find a nice Italian restaurant downtown (they're few and far between). The restaurant is small but beautiful - very charming and rustic feel to it (though I agree with a previous review that the wooden chairs are not too comfy). The red wine was very nice and the bread appetizer was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parmigiana which was excellent ( and an enormous portion) and I had the Bocci's calzone - not the best I've ever had but still tasty. There were a number of much fancier items on the menu but we went the simpler route to be safe. If I offered any advice, it would be to go more in the direction of pasta and meat instead of the calzones, pizza, etc. - I don't believe their focus is on the latter. Overall, I'd recommend it, the food was good and the atmosphere was great.

Fantastic date place.
Great food and great atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and intimate while the food is authentic and served piping hot. The only downside is the small, uncomfortable wooden chairs.

Great Italian Food in a City of Seafood.
My husband and I ate here after a day of shopping and walking. It was really attractive from the steet...there are three sets of double doors that open into the main dining area. We were seated on the upper level, further from the street. The ambiance was wonderful, great for couples. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, but left us to enjoy our food and have a conversation without being interrupted. The food was excellent. My husband ordered a chicken manicotti dish and I ordered the small baked ziti. Both were amazing. We also ordered a bottle of wine, and the server was not pushy while we took our time finishing it after dinner. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

How can you go wrong with Italian?.
My husband ordered the manicotti stuffed with chicken and i ordered a basic penne with vegetables and tomato based sauce (which i have to add was not on the menu, i had to ask for them to make it specially..so if you are veggie..stay away from here because my food sucked!!) Our food had no flavor whatsoever, mine was a watered down tomato sauce with some boiled veggies in it and the manicotti had a bad chicken odor to it. The waitress only took my meal off our check. Personally they should have taken off all the food and let us just pay for our drinks. Being that i live here in Charleston and come into a lot of tourists through my job - I will never return here and will let everyone i come into contact with that this place is truly awful!!

Everything here will make you want to come back!.
Found this restaurant on citysearch, and couldn't have been happier! I can't say enough about the food here. Every bite is better than the last - from appetizers through dessert, you will not be disappointed. Prices are extremely reasonable (especially after the first bite!) and the staff is friendly, curteous, helpful and fast! Great atmosphere for large groups or a romantic dinner for two.
