A truly outstanding experience!. This was my second annual visit to OSBS as I visit Charleston each year for business. I made my appointment again with Sherry for a haircut and shave. What I appreciate about Sherry is that she takes her time and never makes you feel rushed. While I was very pleased with the haircut, the entire shave process was extremely relaxing with multiple hot and cold towels and applications of lather and various lotions. What would make OSBS even better for me would be private areas at the shop where you can relax and enjoy the shave experience and not listen to the conversation taking place from the next chair. Speaking of the chairs, they are comfortable but don't allow you to fully extend your legs but that is more common with modern barber chairs. I am looking forward to next year!

Disappointment. Not at all what I was expecting. The photos looked nice, but the service and haircut experience was really bad. I paid way too much for what I got as well. The stylist were all women (not a problem) but they were caddy and gossiped the entire time.The topics of money and who did what - made me quite uncomfortable. I came to relax - sorry guys. I wish this one would have been better.

Great Place for Guys. Great place for a haircut, shave or massage. Beautifully decorated and has a great men's club feel. I brought my dad in for his birthday and he loved it. Make sure you ask for Fiona, she was great.

Great place for the Groom and his boys. Our wedding planner recommended The Old South Barber Spa to us, great call. This is the perfect place to relax and chill with your groosmen before the big ceremony. It is a first class place with great stylists and staff. It is a real Charleston experience for those of you from out of town considering Charleston to get married. We checked out their website and that sold us. If I ever get married again, I will be back. Just kidding honey.

A True Southern Men's Getaway. I recently had my Groomsmen in town from the UK, Ireland & USA. We spent the AM at The Old South Barber Spa, enjoyed whiskey, shaves, haircuts, etc. The staff was great and very professional, the building beautiful and made us feel like we were in the old south at the turn of the century. This is a place that everyone should see and enjoy especially if they are with their mates just before the big day.

Great Spot!!!. Joe and his staff were incredible. I can not thank them enough!!! They opened the doors for my groomsmen and me to get ready the morning of my wedding. We were able to relax and get shined up for the wedding.

The atmosphere of Old South, relaxing and stress free, is exactly what I needed that morning. If you are getting married in Charleston, stop by and talk with Joe about hanging out before your big day!

Great Service and Amenities!. Just like being part of a private men's golf locker room. Sherrie listens to what you want and executes exactly the fresh cut you want. The whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Every visit is a great experience and look forward to going back every time.

My new favorite place in Charleston, SC. Cool old school place set in late 1700's setting. Bar, cigars, fireplaces, original woodwork, courtyard, massage rooms with full showers, internet,etc. Easy to park or walk from my hotel. A very charming place with a great friendly and professional staff. Visited with my dad from Atlanta and he loved it. Wish I live Charleston for many reasons, this being one. Ask for Fiona and Darlene, they are great. They even do Grooms parties.
