Shopping >Rite Aid
Rite Aid Corporation is one of the nation's leading drugstore chains, operating more than 5,000 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia. …
Most incompetent pharmacy I've ever encountered.
In the past six months, Rite Aid has made an error with my prescription every single time I have had to get a refill. Errors include:
--giving me 2/3 of the number of pills I was prescribed, repeatedly
--telling me my insurance no longer covered me, when in fact it did (turns out they had been calling the wrong insurance company)
--telling me my doctor refused my prescription when he didn't (I assume they'd been calling the wrong doctor, but they never offered an explanation for that one)
--general inability to complete a refill by the time promised
I stayed with Rite Aid for several months because it was the most geographically convenient pharmacy, but the general stress and inconvenience caused by their incompetence is outweighs location.
Drugstore offers personal-care and household products plus convenient online prescription refills..
Debuting in 1962 as Thrif D Discount Center in Scranton, Pa., this drugstore chain became known as Rite Aid in 1968, and today is one of the largest in the nation. In addition to a pharmacy, each store carries a wide variety of health-care and household items--from nutritional supplements to cleaning supplies to snack foods. Flu clinics are held at various locations throughout the flu season.
