Barbara Brant-Williams has an encyclopediac knowledge of all things concerning skin and hair care. She is the "queen of red" and all other colors. She is one of the few stylists in town that really listen to your specific needs rather than imposing a trend or product upon you.

She is herself amazingly knowledgable, but also has an amazing referral network.

She is transformational!

I am a salon owner. My name is Angie Davis and I own an Organic Salon in wrightsville Beach. I love CHarleston and decided to have my hair done with Brenda since we use the same color line. I was pleasantly suprised that we have taken a color class together..and couldnt have been happier with her service and salon environment. She made me feel at home and took great care of my hair. Barbara Brant-Williams. I just moved to the Charleston area and needed to find a stylest who would either use my organic hair color or was an expert with her own organic hair color. Well I found Barbara Brant-Williams, The Grooming Guru, who is a fantastic stylist, has a wonderful organic brand and has a wonderful list of referral for whatever you need in the area. Barbara Brant-Williams, The Grooming Guru, Rocks!. I was bored with my hair and decided to go to Barbara Brant-Williams since so many of my girlfriends go to her. Best decision ever! I was so happy with my cut and color when I left. I felt like a new woman. Lola Salon is an adorable little place in West Ashley, and Barbara makes your visit warm and welcoming. She is great at listening to what you really want and using her expertise to deliver fantastic results. I have told all of my friends about her and will continue sending people to her. She is super talented and comes highly recommended.

Lola Hair Salon. Going to the "Grooming Guru", Barbara Brant-Williams yesterday was such a treat. I walked into the shop and immediately felt lighthearted and as if I was in a special place. All the colorful walls, pillows, bling, and sophisticated yet coziness of the shop showed me immediately that I was at a salon where I would get the best treatment. My color turned out so natural looking and thick. (Barbara must be a guru to make my thin locks luck so lush). I especially enjoyed the lively conversation and the head massage with my shampoo. If you are looking for the best colorist in Charleston and the most trained and experienced stylist, I highly recomment getting to the "Hair Guru" ASAP. Joan

QUAINT AND CLASSY. Barbara Brandt-Williams, Grooming Guru, is who you want to go to for the best color job. You will have fun and walk out loving your hair and Barbara. This West Ashley salon is intimate and convenient with free parking. Oh, yes and the hair cut is superb too. I just moved to California and will miss her dearly...hope she makes house calls.
