Great Beach Bar/restaurant, love the GUAC. Drove all the way to Taco Boy from Wild Dunes on Isle of Palm in an effort to seek out what have been called some of the best fish tacos in Charleston (bout 35 min drive). Not sure I agree with being the BEST, but I do agree this place is pretty damn cool!

The atmosphere can be described as a noisy, high energy, fun-loving Mexican beach bar. Either way, I loved the way this was much different from your high volume seafood restaurants downtown.

The Food/Drink – Started with Margaritas, all tasted great, no slouching on the “strength”. Started with the Nachos and were delicious! I then ordered the Baha taco along with the Ahi Tuna taco. The small double corn tortillas were key to keeping it light and not too filling. Both were good, but the Tuna stood out as being fresh and tasty with a great sauce.

TB also boasts outdoor patios on the front and back to enjoy the weather and only 2 blocks from the ocean. Stop by in your flip-flops and leave the dressy clothes at the hotel. Next time I’m coming back just to be a beach bum at the bar.
