Run for Best Happy hour but wait for me!. Can you say AWESOME! I don't like oyesters and keep going back. The SHRIMP ARE HUGE! Great deals on on Happy Hour and Love the Martini's. Great Service anytime you go and so polite and friendly. Crab Louie is good without the balsamic reduction, unless you like that. I love this place

Great Oyster Tasting List, Good for people watching, Knowledgable staff. If you are looking for a true oyster bar, this is it. I tried four different varieties of oyster, none of them from the gulf. They were served freshly shucked by Nate, who had the knowledge to educate those out of the loop on oysters. They also have a wonderful peel & eat shrimp appetizer that puts most shrimp cocktails to shame. This is also a great place for people watching. Get there at four when they open and sit down at the street side bar to watch the crowd stroll by. The bar itself has a cool & funky waterfront dive sort of feel and although it is part of a larger chain of restaurants it still has the appeal of an independant operator. The service was perfect, timely and friendly without being familiar. The prices are what one would expect for top quality seafood. (1 dozen oysters $19.95) Their happy hour does have some good deals though. This was the first of many trips for me to this new found gem. Give Pearlz a try if you want a true oyster bar.

Great food and drinks in a freindly attmosphere. As a business traveler this is type of place one longs for. The large bar/oyster bar is a great place to gather, mingle, drink and dine. I ate here on my second night in town and returned the next 2 nights. This place shows a comitted and caring attitude to its customers and seems comitted to offering great food(shrimp appetizer, crab pizza, encrusted tuna , etc. etc.) and drinks at an affordable price. I have dined at quite a few restaurants in Charleston and must say this is by far the most reasonable for great seafood. Many other restaurants are to pretentous and wayyy over priced for my taste. So my advice, check em out, you will not be disipointed
