We went for my mother's birthday in January and ordered the expensive but extremely delicious tasting menu. This was the second time we had tried it and the second time we were blown away. Everything was off the cuff and we didn't know what we would be eating next until the server brought it to our table. Tuna Carpaccio, pig-cheek ravioli, braised sea bass, duck comfit to name a few of the exquisite dishes that we dined upon. Nothing was over cooked or under seasoned. Shear perfection. I recommend it if you have a special occasion or just want to spoil yourself for an evening. I’ve head they’re moving downtown. I’ll be sad to see them leave the island!
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: Limited wine selection

The service at this restaurant was horrendous! First of all, the "romanitic booths" the previous reviewer mentioned have a lovely view of the hostess podium and the plywood-lined wine room. The ambience in the restaurant was great, but my date and I didn't know that until we had to get up to use the restroom: if you go here, I would specifically request not to be seated in these booths that look like they were thoughtlessly put in a hallway as an afterthought. Our server was in the top 2 of the worst servers I have ever had. She acted like we were not there, and considering that our booth was right next to the bar, she passed us regularly to get drinks for her other customers. I wish we had been so lucky to get drinks from her; my date had to ask the hostess for more to drink. The waitress brought us some bread before our meal and literally tossed the metal bread bowl onto our table as she passed without even looking at us. The waitress acted like she was angry at us for being there- if she treats all of her customers the way she treated us, Sienna should reconsider her. When we told her that we didn't want an appetizer, the waitress was argumentative and asserted that we should order one since our food could take a long time. On a positive note, the food was very good: it was presented very nicely and tasted great. Unfortunately, we were ready to leave by the time the food arrived. This restaurant did NOT live up to the hype: if you are visiting Charleston, do not waste the gas to drive out to Daniels Island- eat in downtown: we had a great experience at The Blossom Cafe on East Bay and at the Palmetto Cafe in the Charleston Place hotel.
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: EVERYTHING else
