Tsunamis mt p. I visit Tsunami often and i believe they have some of the best sushi around. The Ultimate roll is one of their best rolls, along with the Triple Tuna roll. If you visit I highly recommend these rolls and for apps the seabiscuit or tuna tataki, the spinch cheese sticks are great too.

The service is consistently unbearable!. I'm not sure why we have continued to try Tsunami of Mt. Pleasant. The service is consistently unbearable. Once the food is served, the waitress always diappears in the kitchen never to be seen again. It is miserable waiting for the bill to arrive when the entire family wants to go home. Amanda was the disappearing waitress this week! Last month, it was another one with a personal problem who could not finish the job.

Worst Service. Worst Service ever. I am always dissapointed with this place. The food is no better than the service. Dont waste your time!

Great food, average service. The best thing about Tsunami Mt. Pleasant is the food. Both the sushi and the regular menu are excellent. The portions on the hibachi meals are a pretty good size. They also make an excellent ginger salad. The atmosphere is also great, mixing a traditional nice Asian restaurant vibe with a more casual feeling, thanks to the flat screen TVs all over the place. Most of the waitresses are very nice, but be prepared for ill-timed service. We often order a sushi appetizer and hibachi dinners, and we have never once gotten our sushi before dessert. We usually end up taking it home in a to-go box because the server either forgot to pick it up or forgot to enter the order. There is a serious disconnect between the sushi bar and the waitstaff in that place, which is really mysterious considering how small it is. We have also had several occasions where we got our soup or salad literally 60 seconds before our dinners. Despite these problems, the food really is good enough to keep us going back pretty often. We would recommend this restaurant only for people who don't care whether they eat sushi for an appetizer or dessert!
