I would also agree with mj50, I was ordered to do a cat san and I suppose I could have disputed against but at the time of service I was in so much pain in my ankle/foot I thought maybe just maybe this time something would show up. OF COURSE nothing did, and after paying my co-pay NOTHING was mentioned about an additional charge of the cat scan (OR I defiantly would have declined) of $200. This all happened a year ago, today I walked into Nason in James Island with complaints of vomiting and stomach pain, I was miserable. The first guy I talked to gave me 4 sheets of paper to fill out, so I did, when I returned a blonde lady with hideous glasses on walked up to me and said if I didn't pay half of the $320 fee that I couldn't be seen!!!!!!!!!!!! she was very unprofessional and disrespectful she said that to me in front of several other patients around. number 1 that's illegal, ( not for them though because there an independent company) NO DOCOTOR OR HEALTH CARE FACILITY WOULD DENY A PATIENT BECAUSE OF MONEY, UNLESS IT WAS A CORPRATE SCAM. Nason= let me steal your money and never actually take care of you
Beware Nason Medical Ctr – Be very careful with these guys. My wife's foot hurt after rolling her ankle. She should have just gone to a real doctor to have it checked out. Unfortunately, she went to Nason.
They charged her nearly $1,000 for a PA to tell her it was broken and she needed to go see an orthopedic. Thanks for the advice, Doc (oops, she never actually saw a Doctor at Nason, my mistake...it was a $1,000 per 10min PA).
We complained about the bill, but they just argued that it is cheaper than the emergency room. I am not so sure.
Worst Experience Ever – This was absolutely and definitely the WORST experience I have ever had in the health care industry. I visited Nason's with a visibly swollen foot and presented with very high blood pressure. I was quickly dismissed when my x-ray was negative for a break or fracture and, although the person who took my blood pressure felt that it warranted a second look, that never occurred, even after I specifically asked about it. Also, I was NEVER seen by an actual doctor and when I questioned this practice, my concern was completely disregarded. In addition, my debit card was charged twice in error and it took over one week for me to recover the money. Finally, although I expressed ALL of this to Nason's management team, I never so much as received a simple apology. I did, however, receive a one-sentence response in an email explaining that they felt my course of treatment was appropriate. I guess notably high blood pressure doesn't mean much to Nason's. For a company that advertises excellent customer service, I was extremely disappointed and would highly recommend anyone wishing to visit Nason's Medical, GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!!!!
Best – I can't even explain in enough words how wonderful this establishment is. They are so wonderful and they saved one of my coworkers husband when he was having an MI. They can definitely handle urgent care.

Charleston's Best Doctor – It is a pleasure to get healthcare from people that actually make you smile. Dr. Nason was very warm and really listened to me. We talked about fishing the whole time, but hey I got my Z-pack and feeling better already. It nice to go somewhere and not hear the same lame phrase, " it's just a virus." Thanks Dr. Nason and Nason Medical Center for making me feel better.
Excellent service and care – Identical service at 1/3 the cost of either Trident or Roper/St Francis. They welcome you, offer you drinks and snacks, encourage you to use your cell phone if you desire and ensure that you will be seen within 20 minutes.
Each person is well-groomed, intelligent, and eager to provide genuinely caring service. You are a person in need of comfort and care ... not a name, or even worse, just a number.
Compare that to your last trip to a "traditional ER"!
Would not recommend – Overpriced. Continued to recive bills 6 weeks after service. Staff would not listen to symptoms, cut off in descriptions. Ordered tests that were not needed.
