Tips for Salon Solas

Angie did an amazing job and made my wife feel very comfortable in moving forward with a drastic hair style change. The end result was worth every penny!

Should've Asked For My Money Back. First time there - both ladies had poor people skills, one was kinda rude, didn't feel welcome as a first time customer. Didn't even look like I got my hair cut. Nearly pulled all my hair out. Very disappointed! Never going back.

Decent job, but no People skills. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding party. The bride made the appointment for us. We were told that there would be no dogs in the salon on the day we were booked, due to my allergies. When we walked in, to my surprise, there was a large lab. When I mentioned that I was allergic to dogs, neither the owner or her assistant did anything. The undisciplined dog continued to bother me over and over as I was eating lunch, without much help from the owner to control the dog. Was trying to keep it cool b/c it was my friend's wedding, so I mentioned that I would probably have to get some allergy medicine (instead of telling them that the dog was a clear health code violation). Upon which, the owner, Angie, offered me a Benadryl. (Benadryl!!! So, I can sleep through my friend's wedding day?!!). I declined. Secondly, prior to the event, my friend booked services well in advanced and was told that if she needed to cancel she would be able to do so 3 weeks prior without penalty. When she tried to cancel b/c she found a salon that could provide more stylists at one time (instead of 2 people for a party of 8!), she was told that her credit card would be charged for half of the booked event - even though, she canceled well within the appropriate time. Incidentally, I had to pay half for make-up that I didn't even get done! Our hair was fine, as was the make-up (for those who had it done), but I was absolutely floored at the level of unproffessionalism. Money is not issue here, but the fact that this was a special event and we felt put-on-upon (paid to feel put-upon) just put a damper on what should have been a morning of pampering and wedding day bliss.

Highly Recommend. I've had a WONDERFUL experience with Angie. Not only is she incredibly friendly and outgoing (I don't know what the person below is talking about because she is one if the nicest people I know) but her talent for styling is excellent. I've been to a couple other high-end hair stylists and Angie is by far the best colorist I've had. She keeps up to date on the newest styles, but respects your own personal style and gives you what you want. I've recommended her to tons of friends, and they ALL love her! Thank you so much Angie!

Would NOT recommend. She has three huge chocolate labs dogs in her little shop that almost attack you when you first go in. She probably shouldn't have dogs in her shop. She wasn't a really a very friendly person. Her work isn't that bad, but she doesn't ask for any imput from you; so I hope you like how she does it.

best color ever!. many stylists have told me that my dark haircolor is too hard to highlight without bleaching.

I have been seeing Tori here since she started working at the salon and have sunkist highlights on my dark brown hair. they're perfect! not orange, and didn't have to be bleached
