A warm, friendly bagel shop - great lunches, too!. You must check out this warm, cozy and friendly bagel shop on your next visit to the Charleston area. Features a creative menu of warm breakfast sandwiches. I tried the "Baja" - a jalepeno bagel w/ chorizo sausage, pepperjack cheese, egg and a side of homemade salsa; absolutely the best bagel sandwich in the western hemisphere!

It's fun to watch the enthusiastic staff squeeze fresh orange juice, as the locals stroll in with their toddlers to gawk and the wonderful selection of fresh muffins, cookies and pastries.

For lunch, I had their beef and brie special - best lunch sandwich served w/ homemade foccacia bread, grilled panini style and garnished w/ spinich and vine ripe tomatoes.

This place is a real find, if you are touring the Charleston area. It's definitely worth the scenic drive across the majestic Arthur Ravenel Bridge into the bosom of Mount Pleasant - a community so friendly and known for the most courteous drivers.
