Wife Loves the cut!. My wife and I traveled to South Carolina for an off season vacation. My wife came up with the idea about us going and getting "Pamperd" on our vacation. I will admit that I didnt want to because I didnt want to be uncomertable getting a service around nothing but women. We looked up Ladies and gets and LOVED the idea of there being two sides! My wife got an manicure and pedicure with Michelle and I got a hair cut with Whitney. Everyne there was up beat and always had a smile on there face and made sure that we had a smile on ours. My wife and i will be back for sure! Good job Ladies and Gents!

Great Experience -. Awesome haircut- Ask for Cynthia- she did a great job and I have a massage set up for next week. This was exactly what I needed. I have been to similar establishments downtown and they were not "Gents" quality.

My wife went next door to Ladies and had a mani/pedi. She raved on the high end products and attention to detail. She is scheduled for a facial and haircut/color later this week. What a great idea! We will both be back.

Highly recommend.

Wish I found this place earlier. Easy, professional- great pricing for an such a good experience.

They got me in with a last minute request- location is killer. My wife enjoyed a pedicure next door at the Ladies side (pure genius, I must say). I set up a massage for later this week. I think this will be my new "go to" place for that haircut, cold drink, and hot shave. As for my wife... well she is sold. I guess finding that type of atmosphere is this location is hard to come by. She raved about the services and the attention to detail that makes it "for women only"

So Needed This. So glad my brother told me to check this place out. I do not think anything else in town compares to it. It was not "just a haircut" It was a great experience- a chance for me to catch a break and relax (and they had my favorite game on with a cold drink in hand). Professional, upscale- but not upscale pricing... and the location was really incredible. In the center of everything downtown.

I will be back for sure. Setting up to have my groomsmen come by the day of. Trust me...they need it!

Great place for a great hair cut and shave. I travel to Charleston every month on business. I’m constantly looking for an experience that makes me feel special. Gents Barber Spa provides one of those experiences. The stylists are friendly, knowledgeable and very professional, and yes, sexy. There is nothing sleazy about Gents Barber Spa. I would travel across the country to have Karen cut my hair and give me the closest shave of my life. She makes me look good for my job and my nights out on the town. I’ve seen the reviews that criticize the Barber Spa, (haters) they are simply not true.

Best Haircut in Town. Just went online to see the update to the website to see if they posted any of the pics from my friend's wedding, and saw a couple different reviews. I just want to say that Gents is great. I've been going there for years, and have always had a great haircut. I drive from Mount Pleasant just to go to Gents. The place is more than just a barbershop. The services are great, but the atmosphere is great too. I don't know what some of these other reviews are bitching about. The place rocks. The girls have cleavage. Oh God. Blame them for that? I am going there for a haircut and a shave - not to find a date. The girls have always been appropriate. Never been an issue once. They give great shaves and haircuts and that is what I go there for. Gents is no hooters, and it is far from sleazy. Try again. It is the best place for a guy to go in Charleston. The best of a barbershop and a salon mixed into one. Five stars for Gents. Period.

Sleezy. My husband and I live in the suburbs of Charleston and decided to take a casual trip to Downtown! While there we decided to go out to dinner Oak Steakhouse (Amazing food by the way) but before hand i wanted to spiffy him up a bit! So we went to Gents (only barber close by)! The building itself was nice, the women were not! They completely ignored me, guess they didnt know who was paying and who would be tipping!! The "hairstylists" was flirting with my husband the whole time and pushing her saggy boobs in his face!! Im not a jealous person i have taken him to strip clubs, however when we go to get a haircut we want a haircut not a peep show!! If we had wanted a peep show we coulda looked at the Playboys they had lying around!! Not even my husband was impressed with the "service" given!! HORRIBLE in all aspects!!

The Place for Men- Great Experience. I can't believe this is the first time I have been here! I am a lawyer downtown and needed a last minute haircut. I was greeted right away and offered a cold drink. As I made myself comfortable, I was surprised to find my favorite team playing on the flatscreen tv. In glancing around, the place was very classy and professional. They took extra effort to personally introduce me to my stylist. Great haircut (very thorough)and I even added on a hot shave. I must say, a great way to decompress during my hectic day. The owner was even there and he personally took me on a tour of there newly expanded spa area. They call it "The Quiet Side" - new massage rooms with showers provided so you head back into work! Brilliant! I will definitly be back.
