July 4th weekend. I felt compelled to write something here to share what a wonderful experience my dogs and I had. I had an opportunity to travel with my children this 4th of July. I usually don't because my black lab is very afraid of fireworks. I was reassured by Juan and Colleen that she would be ok. I was able to call and get an update on my dog's status throughout the holiday weekend. I felt very comfortable with my dogs being in their care. The kennel was clean, the dogs came home clean and happy and I was happy. Thank you Juan and Colleen for making my Independence weekend so enjoyable!

FINALLY A BOARDING KENNEL THAT CARES. Juan, I had to take the time and write this review. I have three dogs who mean the world to me. Vacations and long weekends have not been in my life for several years because I would not leave my dogs behind. Then my neighbor told me about your Kennel. Being the prude that I am I had to go there and request an unannounced tour of the facility. It was Immaculate, and really did have that spa feeling, also, you were not the least bit offended that I barged in on your busy schedule. Still reluctant , I boarded my dogs with you for a four day stay and called you everyday for feedback. Much to my surprise and relief when I picked them up they seemed to happy and they smelled wonderful. I don't think they even missed me. Thank you again. I will be back soon.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!. My Husband and I can not thank Juan enough!! We planned our honeymoon one year ago, so after checking out every kennel around decide to go with THE HOME PLACE BED AND BISCUIT. Thank -god we did. We raise show Beagles, and also have a very, very spoiled Teacup Yorkie. We had a total of 12 dogs to board! Did I mention 1 was about ready to have puppies! If this would have been a regular vacation we would have cancelled our trip. But this was our honeymoon... Zena our first time mom was due to deliver 2 day after we got back. But you guess it, she had her babies early!!! Thank god for Juan (aka the Dog whisper). Not only did he take the very best care of our Zena and her little one's. He also called us at our resort in Alaska to tell us that we were proud new parents of 6 perfect pups. He also told me that he had brought our Yorkie home with him because he could tell she miss us so much. To make my story short because I could go on and on. We picked up all of our babies in very good spirits. As for my little yorkie, she didn't want to leave Juan. LOL

PS Juan's lovely wife Colleen gave us a nice bottle of wine as a gift for getting married.

God Bless these wonderful people.. Needless to say this is the only place I will ever consider with the care of my babies!!!!

Highly Recommeded!!!. It is sad to see people are still racist in this country. When can you go to Walmart and start yelling at them to open the doors 10 minutes early? This is in reguards to the last review - Jackiii. I have been boarding my dog at The Home Place for five years. This is the cleanest, most professional and friendliest kennel in the area. I personally take offense to somebody writing a bad review about Juan and Colleen's business. For one, a kennel cannot give a dog an ear infection. An ear infection can cause a staph infection. It is funny that a person would have left their animal if the door was covered in "dog poop". Did this person question his dog's weight loss? My dog who is very shy has never lost any weight. She is always well cared for and clean when I pick her up. I have seen the set up of the kennel and at no time was I concerned about my dog's health or safety. Also, my vet uses this kennel. She was the person who recommended me to The Home Place. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Home Place!

Do not put your dog here. to start with, this is hillbilly hell, mexican style.

my dog lost 10 pounds in 12 days, came back with an ear infection and staph infections.

when i went to the place, ten minutes early to his 3pm opening time, i walked around yelling hello hello. The main door of the front porch? covered in dog poop. I'm 400 dollars in vet bills poorer for this stay. STAY AWAY

meeting you and seeing the kennel I was able to enjoy my vacation. You took the time to answer my phone calls which were alot.

would recommend. The kennel is very clean and i found it to be one of the cleaniest in the area!! The dogs are very well taken care of. The owners were very kind and considerate of my needs for my dog, The owner should be called ceasar milone ( dog whisper ). Most kennels dont have indoor runs. I knew that my dog was getting excersize, And that meant alot to me. Most kennel owners tell you that they will excersize your dog and they dont. I will never take my dog anywhere else. I give it 5 stars and more!!!!!!!!

GREAT PLACE. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO BOARD DOGS. MY DOG STAYED THERE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND I COULD TELL THAT SHE ENJOYED HER STAYED. STAFF REALLY CARES ABOUT ANIMALS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

GREAT PLACE TO BOARD. Just moved to town and was recommended by a neighbor. This place rocks indoor outdoor kennels, clean and cheap. I wish they had this in Ohio. I used them this past weekend and plan to do so again soon. When I walked in I thought I was in a spa.

EXCELLENT KENNEL. HI,

I have boarded my dogs at the Home Place Bed and Biscuit many , many times and have never had anything but good things to say about the kennel and the owners. They treat your dog like it's part of their family! They are less expensive then everywhere else and the dogs are always clean when I come to get them!!! My dogs beg me to go there!! Try it you'll love it!!!
