Best Clothing Store in Town. I am from Mt. Pleasant and have been shopping at Copper Penny for years! I absolutley love the selection of clothes. They have the best prices on jeans out of anyone in town, and the best selection. They carry sevens, citizens, paige, j brand, AG, and kasil. Plus, they carry Trina Turk and Diane Von Furstenberg. I love their shoe store too. I highly encourage any visitor to Mt. Pleasant to check out the Towne Centre stores. The girls have wonderful customer service skills and are very helpful and fashionable. Enjoy!!
Too much junk.. I agree with the first review. The girls that work at these Copper Penny boutique's have a chip on thr shoulder, for no reason. I suggest looking in to hiring girls with more class. And as far as the clothing, they do carry the upscale lines. However, someone needs to display them correctly/organized. A boutique should feel inviting and organized, appealing to the customer. And the shoe boutique needs to move on from flat, super pointed toe shoes. Hint Hint...it's over.
best boutique in the area, hands down.
I completely disagree with the previous review. I have been living in Los Angeles for a number of years and I, too, have an ample selection of boutiques at home. Having family in South Carolina, I have frequented Copper Penny for MANY years. Not only have I, a working female in my late 20s, made quite a few purchases at the King St. location over the past several years but my mom, a working woman in her late 50s, has also found clothing that she liked at Copper Penny. Furthermore, the sales people have never given me attitude.
Most recently, I had a bridal appointment at the Mt Pleasant location. The selection at Copper Penny blew every other bridal boutique within 100+ miles out of the water...Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier and Melissa Sweet bridal gowns as well as Thread bridesmaid dresses. In short, I would highly recommend Copper Penny.
Don't waste your time. If you like trendy clothes that were hot 5 minutes ago - this is the place to go. Not too sure what the scoop is - but the selection in Charleston in general is terrible. Granted I'm from Chicago and have gotten spoiled with an ample selection of great designers, but every store I've been in has the same selection - it's as if the same person bought for all the "boutiques". The store in Towne Center is hands down the worst - no work clothes for us women that actually work - and the store is too small for the amount of junk they've piled in - it's not a pleasant experience. Not to mention the little girls who work there - hello - you make $8 an hour - what's with the attitude?!?
