Stay Away!. I really, truly am not a super picky person. However, China Fun was so disgusting and not worth the $20 that my husband and I just spent that I felt compelled to warn all others about their terrible food and prices. Granted, I will admit that many of the Chinese restaurants charge between $7 and $10 for their entrees. I mean, you get two or three meals' worth! That is the one thing that China Fun has going for itself. However, the food is so gross that it's still a waste because you, like me, will end up throwing it away after your gag reflex kicks in. I know I sound like some horrid, biased, arrogant person, but I promise you; this place is horrible in comparison to EVERY other Chinese take-out restaurant that I've experienced. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and my husband ordered the sesame chicken. I love, love sweet and sour chicken; it is my absolute favorite, and I've never been disappointed until an hour or so ago. It was so laden in grease that there were pools of grease laying on top of each piece. So, then I thought maybe I should soak up some of the grease. I soaked four paper towels with grease before finally feeling ready to take a bite. When I took I bite, ALL I TASTED WAS THE FRIED PORTION, NO MEAT! Of course, there was meat it in, just not in the first bite. Even then, the amount of fat surrounding the meat literally makes me gag just typing this. I am NOT a rich person AT ALL, and I NEVER throw ANYTHING away. I work VERY hard for my money, and yet it's all going in the trash. P.S. I'd given the sesame chicken a two-star rating. However, I have to warn you that my husband will eat nearly anything and love it, and even he said that the food was mediocre AT BEST. He also typically doesn't care about fat, calories, etc. I mean, he is a sweets ADDICT! However, he said that it just sucked because it wasn't worth the calories at all. My mouth nearly hit the floor! That's so unlike him. If you try this place, don't say I didn't warn you!

highly recommanded. the service is very fast. and workers are pleasant. the chicken wings are the best in charleston.

Best Chinese Restaurant I Have Ever Eaten At!. Our friends had us over for dinner one night and we were not excited to have order-in Chinese food UNTIL we tasted it. Everything has a unique flavor, which is hard to find in most Chinese Restaurants. We recommend the Spicy Chicken Brocolli and the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce (put over rice). They are amazing. The quality of the food is more like a gourmet Chinese Restaurant, not anything like those buffets where everything tastes the same.

still good. I have been going to China Fun for several years and was disappointed to find out that the ownership had changed. Fortunately, the food has not changed dramatically...it is still probably the best fast-Chinese I have ever had in Charleston. I do miss the old owner though, who was very friendly and welcoming. On the upside, the new owners have significantly improved the dining room if you want to eat your lunch there (small-- approximately 9 booths). Plus, they still have delivery service!

yum!. The owners try their best to provide a customer with a memorable experience. They make sure you get the attention you deserve and hold each and every one of their customers with high regard. We all know that we're not always the perfect customers but they really know how to handle each situation. The restaurant has a very warm and friendly environment. I guess it's one of their quirks!

China Fun the best Chinese Food in Charleston. I have been eating at China Fun for the last few years. I have yet to find better Chinese Food in Charleston. Its hard to beat the quality, price, and speediness of China Fun. The recent change of ownership has not been a problem in the slightest. In fact, my last few visits have proven to been better than any others．

yuck!. This place has been going downhill ever since the old owner left. The new owners can't even cook their rice right. I ordered some yesterday and it tasted horrible. This would have never happened if the old owner was still there.

this place has change. i use to go to china fun at least twice a week. I have just recently discover that the owner has change. This place is now under a new ownership and it is really sad. The place does not feel as welcome as it use too and the food is never the same. I would possible not go back there until the old owner comes back..

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered some chicken wings from this place and they were absolutely TERRIBLE. I asked for them to be a little extra crispy and when they got to me they were burnt. I immediately complained to the manager who was so rude to me. She did not even apologize for them, she just looked at me angrily and gave me a refund. I am never coming back to this place.

BEST FOOD ANYWHERE. This place has the best chinese food in all of charleston. I have been eating here since 2001 and am still very pleased with the food and the service. They are the fastest around and always have my food ready really fast. The employees are nice and friendly and always have a smile on. The food is the best in charleston. i would drive fifty miles just to have there food.
