Amazing cut -- get Alicia. I live in DC but grew up in the Goose Creek/North Charleston area. I usually get stupid expensive haircuts in DC from top-rated salons, but after paying $60 plus tip for my last cut where I only got a trim, I thought I'd try something different for cheaper while on Xmas vacation here. My sister suggested Higher Image Salon, and I made an appointment with ALICIA. I just came back from the cut, and I couldn't have had a more positive experience! My hair was so long, the longest layer was past my chest. Alicia chopped about 3 inches off, layered and framed my hair. It looks amazing. Some other bonuses: She doesn't go overboard on the hair products. I hate it when I come home from the salon and there is too much expensive junk in my hair to the point where I want to wash my hair right away. Alicia also is very friendly and amusing and has a dry sense of humor that I love. I'm just getting my cuts here from now on whenever I come home!
