Perfect Day. Wow! Five of us flew into Charleston for our annual girls weekend from TX, TN, & OK. Decided at the last minute we wanted a spa day. Not familiar with the area, chose the Windemere location. The staff bent over backwards to book the services we requested at the last minute. The massages and facials were excellent. The staff suggested we bring in wine and snacks while we enjoyed the tranquility room. We stopped into the Organic market across the street for wine and fitting eatables which the staff prepared a lavish spread and chilled the wine for us. A delectable buffet was waiting for us in the TR when we returned from our treatments. We felt like royalty. It was a most enjoyable experience and one I would highly recommend if you are looking for a "get away" experience. The prices were very reasonable and the facilities very accommodating!! The gift shop has unique and usual items that will make your wallet's mouth water!

Bryon Stone: the BEST.. Not only was the front desk as sweet as can be today, I've been coming here for years and everyone has always been nothing short of friendly, welcoming, and professional any time I've visited. Years ago I saw a massage therapist (Jay Y)...who since relocated....and really never found anyone that could compare to him. Enter: Bryon Stone. Being the third time I've seen him, have no reason to see anyone else....ever again!

Very Rude!. I was treated so rudely at the west ashley location by the girls at the front desk. It completely ruined my massage. They have terrible customer service here. I have been to many spas in Charleston and this was terrible. I will NEVER go back. I highly recommend going to Earthling and not coming here!

Unresponsive possibly Theives. On April 6th a new employee Hailey was performing massage theropy. My wife walked into the massage room with iPhone in hand and placed it in her back pocket as she changed leaving her clothes folded and on the floor. When the massage was over and Hailey left the room, my wife dressed and reached for the phone to check emails - it was gone. Hailey had gone. My wife went to the manager and they called the cell phone which immediately rolled into voice mail. They could not reach Hailey who did not wait for a tip.

Although Urban Nirvana recognized that theft is the only possibility - they did nothing to compensate my wife and refused to take responsibility for employee actions. This is wrong on many fronts and I find myself writting my first ever review.

DO NOT GO to Urban Nirvana - they are potentially thieves at the very least dishonest and unresponsive.

Great Buff and Bronze. I had the Buff and Bronze before my wedding! It was awesome! Looks great. I also enjoyed a venti starbucks afterwards! I highly suggest you check this place out!

Urban Nirvana is the best day spa in South Carolina. I went to Urban Nirvana last month for a Whiplash massage. The whiplash massage includes an application of paraffin over the back and special attention to the neck and back and an extended session of kneading stretching and accupressing by the massage therapist. Since it was my first visit to Urban Nirvana, I had the staff at the front desk pick someone for me. I highly recommend Kathryn. She was fabulous. Anytime you are in Charleston, Columbia, or Greenville, be sure to check out UN. They also have great products and hair salons!

Go to Cady...she's fantastic!. I stumbled upon Urban Nirvana after a yoga class in the Windermere Plaza and am now a loyal customer with Cady. She understands her clients (well, as least me)...she just gets it! She knows how to give a girl a cut that's fun, manageable and not plain...she's a great colorist and I've actually been so pleased, I let her "play" because she always gives me a new, but natural look. I leave feeling great and the cut can be replicated the next day without the help of a stylist! As a girl seriously scarred by a bad haircut as a kid, I never thought I'd get bangs again, but Cady convinced me, gave me a glass of wine and now I LOVE my fun locks! Thanks!

Small and dark. Urban Nirvana is extremely small with only two treatment rooms and one restroom. The "lounge" area holds two slipper chairs and it is also the lobby so it's not comfortable to relax in your spa robe when anyone can walk in off the street. I am a plus sized woman and was uncomfortable in a too small robe, there are no plus sized robes available. The shoes do not appear to be cleaned between guests, as we were instructed to return our shoes to the shelf. There are only two treatment rooms but 10 very small lockers? It would make more sense to provide larger lockers since the spa cannot accomodate that many people.
