Great Homecooking with a Flair!

We have eaten at Boulevard Diner a handful of times and every time was great. They have daily specials that are resonable and tasty. I have had their meatloaf and potatoes and it was good old comfort food. The atmosphere and food remind me of down town Charleston. Try it!

Great southern comfort food!

If you like southern comfort food, you will love this place! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and waited just a few minutes for a table. We were served quickly and the food was very, very good. This is the kind of place that you throw a cap on and go eat. The diner is in an old Dairy Queen, but you will never confuse DQ with this place. It is first rate southern food. It is a locals kind of place, but if you are looking for a great lunch at a cheap price, this is the place for you. I would certainly plan to visit Boulevard again.
- Pros: Great food, very casual, close to downtown
- Cons: Could be very busy on a weekday at lunch time, so plan to wait a few minutes
