Not what I expected.
Brining a child into this world is a very stressful and happy time, filled with a lot of things to get. One of those is baby furniture. My experience with Baby Bloomers has been awful. We were hoping to get our furniture a month in advance of the babys arrival so we could get the nursery ready. Our baby is due in the middle of June.
We showed up in Jan/Feb to pick what we wanted. The 3 people working there are not equals. The male gives you a sales pitch like he is selling a car and way over the top. The lady Poo gave me the impression we were bothering her with our questions. I'm sorry, but this is our first child and I am no expert in baby furniture.
We moved past that and found some great pieces that we liked. I will give them credit the furniture is good quality. We told them we wanted it by middle of May. They told us not to order untill middle of April. Remember, we were in there ready to order in February. So we waited till April like they recommended and ordered in the beginning of the month just in case. 4 weeks goes by and we hear nothing. We give them a call and they tell us they can't guarantee a delivery date but have shipments every 4 weeks. Let me remind you we ordered 4 weeks ago and the gentlement now says the next shipment won't be for 2 weeks and it "doesn't look like it will be one that shipment". They have no way to even tell me if its on the shipment. We call back a week later, again they remind us that they can't guarantee delivery but "some" of the pieces should be available by June 1st. Again, the June 1st date might be as well be a guess since they can't deliver anything. My experience with them on the phone has been awful. They accused me of lieing, and that I need to understand where they are coming from. Also, in very fine lettering on the receipt it says that all sales are final and nothing can be cancelled or reimbursed. So now I have no options but sit and wait that my furniture gets on one of these uncoordinated shipments before the baby comes. I might not have the baby's furniture before the baby arrives.
Stay away. If I could do this all over again I would NOT be buying from this place. The worst customer service. They make you feel like an idiot and that having baby furniture before the baby arrives is no big deal.
I have never wrote a review (good or bad) about any place on the internet before but they made me change that. Since I have no power to change, cancel, or get reimbursed I resorted to writing a bad review. It's the least I could do. I hope others don't fall into this same trap. If you do buy from here don't listen to their "expected deliver" dates and order well, well in advance.
great customer service. I felt like family in this store...great clothes, great service! The store is visually appealling and immediately drew me in to shop
