Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

A private, intimate retreat offering hospitable, southern comfort.. The Scene
The décor here is wonderfully subdued. In one common space, a painted portrait takes up an entire wall; across from it, a tasteful collection of plates have been arranged in two elegant rows. There is something about the careful placement of each treasure that makes you want to whisper as you walk through the halls.

The Details
The rooms and suites are decorated with period-style furnishings. They have a cozy B&B feel and are much less formal than the public areas. Each features a fireplace or opens onto the arcaded passageway overlooking the central piazza. Those on the arcade have cute bistro chairs and tables for sitting out with your morning coffee. This is the kind of place where your breakfast is delivered to your door on---literally---a silver platter. Of course, you can also enjoy it in The Peninsula Grill, where the dinner menu is equally sumptuous, featuring such signature dishes as oyster stew and coconut cake.
